We found out why she's been so fussy and not sleeping. This morning I felt a top tooth! She has two bottom teeth that didn't bother her at all but this top tooth really did her in. Thankfully it has now broken her gums. It felt amazing to get some sleep last night!
We had been having some diaper stink issues here lately. So much so that I could smell the ammonia smell just coming from her (okay maybe it wasn't as bad as I felt but I felt like I could always smell it). I had a friend suggest RLR to strip them. So I ordered some last week from www.diaperjunction.com for $1.99. It came pretty quickly and I got to work.
First I washed all of our cloth diapers including the shells, then took the shells out. Now the friend said to use half a packet but the packet said to use the whole thing... so I used the whole thing. I dumped it in and did a wash cycle with it. Then the rinsing began. I really should have listened to my friend... it took me somewhere around 7 rinse cycles to get it all rinsed out with no suds.
So far though the smell is much better thankfully. It didn't really help with stains though. I really miss the strong hot Florida sun that got them white within an hour or so. I also hate having to use my dryer all of the time here in the cold dreary Indiana winter.
