Indy Children's Museum

On the first Thursday of every month from 4-8pm the Indy Children's Museum has a free night sponsored by Target. We decided to head out to it tonight. By we I mean Norah, Matt, my sister (Brittany), my niece (Taylor) and myself. We loaded up the car and drove the hour and 15ish minutes (through a few questionable areas) and parked in the museum parking garage.

It was pretty crowded but we did manage to see a few things. Norah tried on a new body...

They have some cool structures for the kids to look at, like this one
Matt even crawled around with our niece so she could get a better look at the trains. The train section kept her happy for a while.

There was a huge barbie exhibit that was pretty cool. They had a fashion runway that the kids could walk down and pose. While we were there though the kids were mostly using it as a dance area :)

We ended up not staying for that long, it was pretty crowded and Taylor was getting tired. There were two 1/2 floors we didn't get to. It was a nice place but I'm thinking we will wait until Norah is at least 2-3 before we take her back and we won't be going on a free day, it was just too crowded and therefore we couldn't let Taylor run around looking at things like she could have if it wasn't so crowded.
