Last night the husband and I went to Cobblestone Grill to celebrate Valentine's Day. Cobblestone Grill is in a cute little area of Zionsville (Indiana). We decided to try this place out because they had a groupon deal that we decided to purchase. The Groupon was $15 for $30 worth of food. I thought I'd write a review on the place in case anyone is looking for more information. Sorry there are no real pictures!
First off I was impressed because I asked on their FB group if they would be able to take our groupon via the groupon app or if I would have to print the groupon off (we don't have a printer). Within a half an hour or so they replied telling me they could take it from the application. Prior to asking I wasn't sure if they would get back to me in time because we were leaving the house soon, so I was happy to get a fast response.
When we got there we were seated right away (we had reservations). Each table had a flower in a vase which was a nice touch. I'm not sure if it was just there because it is almost Valentines Day or if they are always there.
We ordered the spinach and artichoke dip appetizer. It was really good. I love when the pita chips are soft bread pieces instead of the cracker pitas. The appetizer was $9. I also ordered a glass of wine which was $5.75.
I ordered the chicken florentine as my meal. It was stuffed with spinach and ham and covered in a creamy sauce. It came with a baked potato and zucchini. Both Matt and I liked it (though I only gave him one bite!) It was $14
Matt ordered a pork dish, which was also served with a potato and zucchini. He liked it. I had a bite of it and it was okay but I am more of a chicken person. His was also $14.
Our bill prior to the groupon being taken off and prior to tip was $44. It is a bit more than or normal night out but we also don't normally get an appetizer or wine either. We really enjoyed it and I'm excited to go back when it warms up on eat on their patio.
