Visiting Some Friends

After we lugged Norah around a way-too-cold-for-the-end-of-April Chicago, we headed up to see some of our favorite people. Kerry, Heather and their beautiful daughter came to visit us in the fall so it was our turn to head their way and get some needed Fry-Steines bonding time in. Unfortunately Norah is teething a bit (AKA less sleep than normal for all Fry family members) so we were a bit sleepy while we were there but still had a blast catching up with some great friends! They are such great hosts and I have to admit that seeing their beautiful home made me long for when we are in a permanent house and can confidently spend some time and money decorating. 

    We played a game on Friday evening called "Ticket to Ride" which will probably be added to our game stash shortly. We tried to get a picture of the two girls together laying down but Norah is just so mobile these days!

 Saturday we hit the town auction where we found some interesting finds...

Clearly the girls were thrilled.

   After doing our biddin' at the auction we headed over to a car show. Norah was in need of a nap (remember the lack of nighttime sleep in our lives?) so we pushed her around in her stroller while we admired the cars. She started to wake up so we snapped a picture... apparently she was still a bit tired haha! She missed a fun time, but it's better than an overly tired baby for sure.

After the car show we headed back for a scrumptious grill cooked burger and fries. We needed to walk off lunch and stretch our legs before our 4 1/2 hour ride home so we took a nice little walk and then let the girls play in the grass.

Sadly it was time to say goodbye, so we loaded up the car and Ona goodbyes through the car window.

 Can't wait for our girls to play together again! Next time they will probably be running around chasing each other.
