Fireworks

Last year on the 4th of July Norah was only about 3 weeks old and she just slept in my lap while we watched fireworks. This year she was of course more aware when we went to a July 4th festival in a town near us. She was really tired by the time the fireworks started as it doesn't get fully dark here this time of year until about 10. She watched them for a few minutes and then started fussing some and someone of course felt the need to inform me that her ears were probably hurting her... We grabbed her paci and then she was fast asleep :) Right in the middle of the loud fireworks she was knocked out in the husband's lap.
