Walking Is Just So Fun!
In the last few days, Norah has transitioned from taking steps, to walking. This might sound like the same thing to some people but there is actually a big difference. At first she was just taking steps when we prompted her. We would both sit on the floor and encourage her to walk back and forth between us - and she would for a while.
Now though I will look up and see her walking across the living room on her own to get to another toy (or to turn the TV on or off with that oh so inviting big round button that sits in a perfect spot on the front of our TV...) It's so crazy to look up and see her walking! She doesn't know how to stand up without touching anything yet though so she will crawl herself over to anything she can find to help her stand up, and then she's off walking :)
I have a feeling we are going to have to re-baby proof our house!
When did your LO start walking more than they were crawling?
Oh! I remember that cute toddling around stage! My youngest skipped crawling all together - she rolled places and then just started walking, close to 1. Little brother took a little longer...
ReplyDeleteMy little one was on the move early and was walking by the end of her ninth month. I guess crawling didn't get her where she wanted to go fast enough. Before you know it she'll be running! I have tagged you for an award. Come on by and pick it up. :) http://mamasmumbojumbo.blogspot.com/2012/07/im-liebster-blogger.html
ReplyDeleteNorah loves crawling and still does it when she wants to get somewhere fast :) Walking is certainly becoming more and more fun for her though!
ReplyDeleteThanks for the award tag :)
