Library

    Norah and I needed out of the house today so we ventured out to a park and then headed over to the library. Our library as a neat little play area filled with several toys, a table train set, some chairs and of course books. Norah really likes this little thing (or not so little seeing as she can barely reach the top!)

It's such a great little corner! She entertained herself for over a half an hour which if you are around many toddlers know that this is a pretty big feat. It was so fun watching her explore toys she isn't used to. 
We've been to the library before to attend their toddler "wiggle and giggle" class but we haven't been for probably 7-8 months and she's grown a lot since then and was barely crawling at that point. Now she is walking all over the place and is a lot more independent. I'm hoping to get to the library once a week or so!

Wiggles & Giggles

This last Friday we went to a session at our library called, Wiggles and Giggles. It is advertised as being for 18 months-4 years old but I’m not sure why it isn’t for 6 months+. We went because I have a friend that goes with her daughter and I figured they wouldn’t kick us out if we had someone “of age” with us :) Norah wasn’t quite her normal happy self but I think she liked it. She doesn’t get to see a lot of kids so she enjoyed watching all of the kids running around and singing songs. She obviously isn’t able to fully participate but she certainly didn’t hinder any of the “of age” kids. 

There was a boy who was also 8 months old that went, actually he was only 2 day younger than Norah. It was really nice to see her interact with a baby her age. I think we are going to try going again this Friday and hopefully she can make some friends :)
