Snappi vs. Boingo

        I was really excited when I received my Snappi and Boingo in the mail from Natures Premiere a few days ago. There had been a shipping issue (on the part of the post office) but with some amazing customer service they got a new one out to me immediately and I got it in a few days. A lot of companies would have left me to deal with the issue and instead they were proactive about it, which is huge for me. I certainly won't hesitate receiving an order from them again based on how they handled the shipping issue alone.

I currently use pocket diapers as well as Grovia AI2 diapers but I've been wanting to try my hand at prefolds. I don't like the idea of using pins but wasn't sure if I would like a Snappi either. I had never heard of a Boingo but it certainly sparked my interest. I'm so glad I tried them! Both of them were pretty easy to use. At first I thought the Snappi won the #1 spot for me but after using them both several times I have to say I am surprise that the Boingo actually came out on top.

The Snappi seemed a bit harder to put on because it is one piece whereas with the Boingo I could fasten one side at a time which was great for my squirmy 10 month old. Being able to do one side at a time is really what placed the Boingo as the winner for us. It makes a big difference when my daughter is trying to roll around and there is no way I can hold her down to use the Snappi properly. You can see in my picture of her wearing the Snappi that it’s on kind of sloppy - that’s due to her squirming so much. Maybe those that don't have a baby as squirmy as Norah have better luck with putting on the Snappi.

The Snappi did keep the diaper on a bit better while she was crawling around everywhere without a cover on, but with a cover on both kept the diaper together really well. Both the Snappi and Boingo product can be found here. 

When testing I had to use a Grovia cover as that's all I have in my stash. After seeing how easy it was to use the prefolds like this I'm really excited to get my hands on some more prefolds and a few more covers.
