.99 Asparagus

I love asparagus. Unfortunately it is usually anywhere from $2.99-$4.99 a pound depending the time of year and the store. We popped into a store we don't usually go to (County Market) and they had their asparagus on sale for .99 a pound! I was pretty stinking excited. We ended up grabbing 4 lbs of it. I'm hoping 2lbs of it will stay good until Easter dinner but if it doesn't look like it will make it that long I'll freeze it.

We cooked one pound of it tonight :) We ate the whole pound between the two of us with dinner... we love asparagus.
