When I was a kid I hated any and all sorts of thrill rides. I remember being about 6-7 and being at Busch Gardens in Virginia and being talked into going on the "Pirate Ship" and I screamed the entire time.... and not the oh this is so fun scream, it was more of a, "I am dying" scream. Since then though I've learned to appreciate roller coasters and while I still don't like the massive 120mph straight down coasters, I do enjoy the loops and turns and thrill that comes with the medium thrill coasters.
First real amusement park ride :)
Sadly, when we went to Cedar Point this last week I wasn't able to get on anything, you know because of the whole pregnant thing. Of course I happily put the baby before my wanting to go on the rides, but it was a bit sad that all I could go on was the carousal (and actually that made me feel a bit queasy truth be told!).
Even though it was a tad sad that I couldn't enjoy being hurled through the air at 70 mph, I loved getting so explore the park with Norah. She's walking pretty much full time now and she wanted to walk all over the park. When it got dark we really let her wander a bit and she enjoyed looking at the lights and being free of the stroller. So while I couldn't ride the rides, I think I watching Norah was even more fun :)
