The One That Escapes
We've had a few scares with Norah even when she has been strapped into her high chair. Even with it strapped tight she finds a way to wiggle herself free from the straps if we aren't paying enough attention (such as when she's in it and I'm making dinner). The other night I yelled at her right as she was trying to crawl out! Obviously I wasn't paying enough attention, but with her strapped in eating I should be able to turn around and grab something out of a the fridge without her becoming an escape artist. I know it is just a matter of time before she finds a way to escape from her crib.
I'm not really sure what else we can do other than sit right with her and make sure her straps are as tight as can be.
She's a big dare devil climber. We had her in a church nursery the other day and as soon as we picked her up they were telling us how she did great but that she is a monkey that tried to climb on top of everything.
We might be in some trouble. I called her monkey a lot when she was a newborn... that may have been some mother's intuition haha
