Happy Birthday Taylor!

Three years ago today my niece Taylor was born not breathing and with no heartbeat. She was a big girl about 9 1/2 lbs. They got her heart to start back up but it was several minutes before she took her first breath. At the time we were living 1000 miles away in Florida and didn't really know much about what was going on. These were some of the first pictures I saw of Taylor (I have a few that are quite a bit more graphic and scary but I'll spare you):

I knew she was alive and that her birth was traumatic, but that was about it. I also knew that she didn't breath for several minutes and that there would of course be a concern if it affected her brain at all.  Thankfully she is a healthy 3 year old today who had no damage due to her birth. She's an energetic little girl that loves Dora and riding with her uncle Matt and Grandpapa on the 4 wheeler. My niece Taylor and daughter Norah are 20 months apart, which is the same age difference that Norah and our second child will have. It's exciting to watch them interact :) Here are some recent pictures I have taken of her!
