My Daugther: Made for the Circus

My daughter might be sending her resume into the circus any day now. Between the baby in a basket trick and the standing on a piana she will be a sure hit.

She was trying to get deeper into her toy bucket and this seemed to be the most logical way to do it. Like any good parents we grabbed our cameras (well phones) and snapped a picture before saving her from the uncertain doom of falling and breaking something. Actually she climbed down on her own without too much truoble. Sadly she couldn't reach the item she was going for and proceeded to have a bit of a fit. I wish I could say she wasn't starting to get a bit of a temper already!

Again and Again

So the husband's parents bought Norah a little tent for her birthday. Well we set it up in the living room (you know because that's where tents usually go) and she was having a good time crawling around in it. At one point using her one year old life experience she decided to lean up against one of the walls of the tent. Now we all know that doesn't work so well, but it took her by surprise when she fell backwards. She of course stopped before she hit the floor and we started laughing at her. 

When she regained her bearings and realized we were laughing at her she started giggling and repeatedly threw herself back against the tent and giggling uncontrollably - which of course just made us laugh harder.

Laundry Basket Fun

Norah has a new hobby. Apparently being one comes with some new interests. Her newest hobby includes climbing into any basket she can find, typically either one of our laundry baskets or the basket we keep in her room that holds her clean cloth diaper inserts. She plays for a few minutes and decides she has had enough and wants out. The problem is she hasn't quite figured out how she should get out. She tries... oh she tries. She sits there with a determined look on her face wiggling around putting one leg out only to realize she might tip over if she leans forward. Finally she gives up and politely and quietly asks screams for us to remove her from the basket she so desperately wanted in just minutes before. 

Terrible quality I know... cell phone flash tends to do that.
